Why it’s free
That Science Thingy is free for the community, with no ads, fees or obligations. Explore concepts, labs, revision, papers and speed rounds, with new content added every week.
Use it alongside school learning. The aim is simple: help children understand an idea, explain their thinking and feel ready to try again.
Learn by trying
Children explore a concept, make a prediction, test an idea and practise explaining what happened. Quests, lab playgrounds and answer practice connect the science to something children can see and do.
